Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. She began her career in the field of real estate following her graduation from school. Tarek El-Moussa and her husband, was also in the business. They ran a prosperous business, until 2008, when real estate agents or house flippers as well as many others broke. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa were nearly financially bankrupted after the crash in stocks of 2008. They moved from an apartment that cost $6,000 per month to an apartment that cost $700 per month. In the meantime, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted a buddy to help make an HGTV audition video in the year the year 2011. The tape featured Tarek as well as Christina working together in flipping the house. Pie Town Productions' executives got hold of the tape. They fell in love with Tarek & Christina. They officially signed a contract with HGTV in 2012. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. Between 2013 and 2017, the show aired 92 episodes over 7 seasons. The show featured Christina and Tarek purchasing homes in Orange County. They would work for weeks on reworking the properties to be able to sell them for profits.
