Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American actor and performer who started her career through innovative raps which addressed gender and ethnic identities from a an edgy, comical perspective. Then she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came from the trumpet. After a classical and jazz education She delved into hip-hop in her teen years. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism, and women's studies in college even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a time. Her focus shifted towards music after she graduated. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in the year 2012. It was eventually included on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also included other popular hits, including the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. After a successful career as a singer, she chose to assume the character of actress. In addition to early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. This June, she released her EP "In Fina We Trust".
